Working with a coach can assist you in many ways. Warren Feld offers coaching services on two levels:
(a) Jewelry Making Skills and Development
(b) Business of Craft Skills and Development
Most important is that coaching

· Provides an extra set of eyes and ears, offering an alternative perspective you would not get taking a course alone

· Provides those additional art and design insights, concepts, and perspectives you do not get from regular jewelry making and beading classes, books and video tutorials, which tend to be presented as more mechanical, step-by-step endeavors
My Role As Coach
My role as coach is to counsel and assist jewelry makers and designers as well as those planning to go into or already are in business. My role as coach is not to make decisions or judgments for you, but rather to guide and make recommendations, rehearse and practice with you, brainstorm, and direct you to additional resources. These will be based upon my best efforts to apply my 35+ years experience in jewelry making and the jewelry making business, and utilizing the resources available to me to assist you. An important part of any coaching is for you to hear the coach think aloud. I do a lot of this so that you can hear how I make choices when interpreting, defining problems and specifying solutions.
Some coaching will focus on skills development. Sometimes this involves reviewing and improving current skills. Othertimes this involves learning variations on a skill or technique, or new skills and techniques. These skills range from bead stringing to bead weaving to wire working and wire weaving.
Other coaching focuses on jewelry design theory and applications. This involves exploring various design concepts and how to implement them. Topics range from how to compose with design elements to architectural considerations to component design systems.
Finally, coaching involves the business of craft. I review things like everything that must be done in order to get started in business. How to bring your business online, from designing websites to marketing with search engines and social media. How to do craft shows. How to price your jewelry (or other craft). How to develop a jewelry line and packaging. And other business development or business continuity considerations.
As You Book Your Session(s)
Video conferencing sessions are 1-hour in length. Multiple sessions may be scheduled. Sessions are conducted online using a face-time service, like Zoom or Skype.
As you book your session(s), by beginning the check-out process online, you will first fill out a short Intake Form. I will review that to determine whether I can provide the coaching you seek, and be in touch within 3 business days. If so, you will continue the process.
Next, I will send you a more complete Intake Form which will give me an idea of what you want to do and where we need to go.
I will phone you, within 3 business days, for a short discussion (about 20 minutes) about your needs and what results you want to achieve. No fees are charged for this time. The time spent here is not counted against your session time.
Within 3 business days, I will generate a coaching plan, do any tweaking as you see fit, and get your sign-off. This coaching plan will outline any pre-preparation you will need to do, and the specifics about how we will spend our coaching time together. It will list any materials and tools you will need to have on hand. I will also identify what I hope we can accomplish within the session time.
You will complete the registration process with payment on line.
I will schedule you for online sessions. I will provide you with a link to join our scheduled meeting online. If you live in Nashville, we can also do these sessions in person, if you want.
There will be some follow-up and evaluation, either in the form of an email or phone call.
FEES
I offer several different pricing packages. My basic fee is $90.00 per hour. This will vary a bit, based on the coaching package you pick.
Fees do not cover the costs of materials, tools and supplies, which you may need.

My name is Warren Feld. I am a jewelry designer and instructor, experienced both with a wide range of jewelry making and beading techniques as well as with all aspects of getting a jewelry making business started and developed. I offer coaching services to novices and experienced jewelry makers and beaders alike, to guide them in becoming more proficient technically and conceptually in various jewelry making skills. I have been making and designing jewelry for 35+ years. This has been a wonderful adventure. This adventure has taken me from the basics of bead stringing and bead weaving, to wire working and silversmithing, and onward to more complex jewelry designs which build on the strengths of a full range of technical skills and experiences. My pieces have appeared in beading and jewelry magazines and books. One piece is in the Swarovski museum in Innsbruck, Austria. I have done a lot of custom jewelry design work for many clients. In 2000, I founded The Center For Beadwork & Jewelry Arts (CBJA) as the educational program for Be Dazzled Beads in Nashville, Tennessee. The program approaches education from a Design Perspective (http://www.warrenfeldjewelry.com/wfjdesignapproach.htm).There are requirements for sequencing the student’s classes; that is, taking classes in a developmental order. There is a major emphasis on teaching how to make better choices when selecting beads, other parts and stringing materials, and how to bring these altogether into a beautiful, yet function, piece of jewelry. The program is envisioned as preparing the student towards gaining a disciplinary literacy in design – one that begins with how to decode the expressive attributes associated with Design elements to a fluency in the management of Principles of Composition, Construction and Manipulation, as well as the systems management of the design process itself.
Since, 1988, I, with my partner Jayden, have owned Land of Odds and Be Dazzled Beads, jewelry and bead store operations in Nashville, Tennessee and online. These businesses sell all the supplies jewelry artists need, offer 20-40 classes each month, and provide one-on-one coaching services.
I have been teaching, consulting and coaching for many years in Nashville, Tennessee, and am excited to be expanding my services to one-on-one coaching online.

As a client of Warren Feld Jewelry, Be Dazzled Beads, LearnToBead.net and Land of Odds (herein referred to simply as Warren Feld), you have certain rights and responsibilities.
You have the right to expect:
Prompt, courteous, and professional coaching services
To be advised if Warren Feld is unable to provide the coaching service within the time frame required
That all information shared with Warren Feld, or any of his staff or resources, will be held in the strictest confidence
That no information provided by you will be used to the commercial advantage of Warren Feld, staff or resources or any other third party
That your client status will remain confidential. No public use of your name, address, phone, email address, or business identity will be made without your prior approval.
In consideration of Warren Feld furnishing you with technical and/or management assistance, you agree to waive all claims against Warren Feld, staff or any other resources employed by or used in connection with these services.
You will be expected to cooperate with Warren Feld in his efforts to assure the quality and effectiveness of coaching services he provides.
Can I purchase coaching more than once?
Absolutely! If you find yourself in need of coaching more than once, simply purchase the coaching again.
Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with your coaching, reach out to us to see if your purchase is eligible for a refund.
Refunds are only available if a coaching session is cancelled at least 24 hours in advance. If multiple sessions are scheduled and the student wants to cancel any of these, then refunds are provided for any pre-paid sessions which have not gotten underway and with at least 24 hours notice in advance.
